  • Online applications are invited for engagement of Junior Engineers (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical) (on CONTRACT basis) using the website of IRRIGATION & WATER RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, HARYANA i.e. www.hid.gov.in, initially for a period not exceeding one year or till the regular selected candidates are appointed, whichever is earlier on 50% of initial pay (pay in pay band + Grade Pay + DA as admissible from time to time) of fresh entrant regular employee after 01.01.2006 subject to minimum of Rs. 8100/- per month or as fixed by the State Government from time to time or at DC rate of concerned district, whichever is higher. Such engagement will be purely contractual in nature and can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason or prior notice and the person so engaged shall have no right to claim either regularization or any other benefit of such engagement for any purpose in the office in which they are so engaged or in the any other office in the State Government. The department would enter into an agreement, signed by both the parties which should unambiguously state that it is an engagement for a fixed term and shall automatically cease on the expiry of the term without providing any claim to the person so engaged to any regularization of service or any consequential benefits. The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in advance without waiting for last date of submission of online application form. The printed copy of the online application form with necessary certificates must be brought at the time of verification/scrutiny. No offline application form or copy of downloaded application form will be accepted by the office. Qualifications/Eligibility conditions and other documents will be determined with regard to last date fixed to apply online applications. The number of posts may vary to any extent depending upon exigency, either way (increase or decrease) including complete withdrawal.


    IMPORTANT NOTES: Candidate having Degree/ Diploma/ Certificates from Institutions/Universities which are not recognized by Haryana Government will not be eligible. Selection Criterion: The selection criterion will be purely on MERIT BASIS and no interviews will be conducted. Special Instruction: 1. The applicant must possess the minimum prescribed qualification on the closing date for applying online. 2. The decision of the Department in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application, mode of selection, etc. will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence/ communication oral or written shall be entertained in this behalf. 3. The selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere irrespective of preferences given. General Instructions: 1. Please read the information bulletin carefully before you start filling the Online Application Form. 2. The candidate should fill all details while filling the Online Application Form. 3. The candidates have to register him/her in first step, after which a Registration Number and Password will be generated. 4. Candidates are not required to send hard copy of their online application forms or any other documents to any of the offices of Irrigation & Water Resources Department. If any candidate sends hard copy of his/her online application form, the same will not be entertained by the Department. 5. The hard copy of application form along with all required documents (in original) must be brought at the time of verification/ scrutiny of documents. 6. No offline application form will be accepted by the Department. 7. In case of any guidance/information/clarification regarding the online filling of the application form, the candidate can call at helpline No. 82642-34652 on all working days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:- 1. Incomplete application i.e. without copies of testimonials of prescribed minimum educational qualification, Date of Birth certificate and application fee etc. may render the candidate ineligible. 2. Number of posts is liable to increase or decrease either way, including complete withdrawal. 3. The applications received after the closing date will not be considered. NOTES: 1. An application will be summarily rejected in the following events and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard:- a) If a candidate makes more than one application for a particular post. b) If the prescribed fee is not deposited by the candidate. c) If relevant documents not uploaded by the candidate. 2. Qualification and other term and conditions of eligibility will be determined with regard to the last date fixed for receipt of online applications. 3. Candidates applying for a post must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions on the last date of application. If on verification at any time before or after the appointment, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility condition or it is found that the information furnished is false or incorrect, their candidature will be cancelled. Action against candidates found guilty of misconduct :- Candidates are warned that they should not furnish/upload any particulars that are false, tampered/fabricated or should not suppress any material information while filling up the application form. Such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, be liable :- (a) to be disqualified from the posts for which he/she is a candidate. (b) to be debarred either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by Department. Fake Institutions:- Candidates, who have obtained degrees or diplomas or certificates for various courses from any institution declared fake by the University Grants Commission or not recognized by Haryana Government shall not be eligible for the posts advertised. DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED WITH APPLICATION FORM i) Scanned Copy of Essential Qualifications i.e. mark sheet of Matriculation, final mark sheet of Diploma, final mark sheet of B.Tech/B.E/AMIE (if passed) and final mark sheet of M.Tech/M.E (if passed). ii) Scanned coloured Photograph of the Candidate. iii) Scanned signatures (on white paper in black/ blue ink) of the Candidate. iv) Scanned copy of Haryana Domicile. LIKELY CAUSES OF REJECTION OF APPLICATION: - The following are likely causes of rejection:- ? More than one application form for a particular category. ? Application is incomplete and not online. ? Full fee, if not deposited in the manner prescribed. ? No qualification of Hindi/Sanskrit as prescribed in advertisement. ? Applicant does not possess the requisite academic qualification on cutoff date. ? Candidate is underage/overage as per the age limits prescribed in advertisement. ? Variation in data of online application form and in original documents when brought for verification. ? Lack of essential qualification as prescribed in advertisement
